Religion: Even though i am a physicist,
I take religion very seriously... really..
Here's the religion...http://www.dina.kvl.dk/~abraham/religion/
..complete with the saint..
stallman.jpg
..we even have scriptures..
emacspub/lisp-mine/faith
see? told you we were serious..
My voice isn't perfect (my lisp)
but whose is..? even God
has a lisp..
Windows PCs are the dominant ones today, but i still
sometimes use MACs
---there is a gnu.emacs.help
mailing list where MAC users often ask for help and we help each
other out.. I am a big sci-fi fan.. in particular, i am very excited
about that
future
world of digital books that will be brought to us by the
good folks like Bill Gates, RIAA, Microsoft and their innovations like
UCITA,
DMCA ...
Besides the Church Of Emacs above, other religions and Gods that I
admire are: Discordianism, MOOism, the Invisible Pink Unicorn, Flying
Spaghetti Monster, Pastafarianism, Church of the SubGenius, the Jedi
religion, Church of the Holy Donut, Eventualism, Kibology,
Frisbeetarianism, Cthulhu, Iglesia Maradoniana, and, to a lesser
extent, Buddhism.
I strongly believe in Intelligent Design as the natural explanation
for "Evolution," just as I believe in Intelligent Falling as the
natural explanation for "Gravity." Russell's Teapot exists, as is
clearly stated in one of his articles.
I admire that in this day and age, U.S. states like Massachussets and
Maryland, and countries like Austria, Finland, Germany, Ireland,
Netherlands, New Zealand, Spain, Switzerland, UK, and Denmark continue
to remember our traditional values by having anti-blasphemy laws on
their books. I also admire all the "victimless crime" laws that help
keep people moral.
I work with Professor
Adil Hassam in Fusion Plasma Physics.
Other interests: QFT, Gravity, Foundations QM; AI; squash, tennis, racquetball etc.
